REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10173
AN ACT PROTECTING INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL INFORMATION IN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS IN THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR, CREATING FOR THIS PURPOSE A NATIONAL PRIVACY COMMISSION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Republic Act No. 10173 is also known as the “Data Privacy Act of 2012”. It is the policy to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth. The State recognizes the vital role of information and communications technology in nation-building and its inherent obligation to ensure that personal information in information and communications systems in the government and in the private sector are secured and protected.

The Divine Law at the same time Moral Law are the non-jural law that this seems underpin the said law. God is commanding us to love our each other and respect the authorities. We must protect each other from any harm and not to cheat each other and be against to a person. We need to respect any decision or we need to understand that we are unique and we have different rights.  God is commanding us to support each other’s decision as long as we are on the right track. If a person shared his or her private life/property to us meaning, their trusting us so much and we don't have the right to share it to other people and use it against them.

Cite a computer activity and determine if it is ethical or unethical.

In my opinion, an act become unethical or ethical when the result or outcome of that action is good or bad for many people based on the policy given.
Professor X, gave a project that is to make a code or a program and he said that its okay to copy the code of each other just to make sure that it is edited or revised. Ken is the best programmer in class and because Jed is his bestfriend, Ken allowed him to copy his program. And Jed’s also shared it to her girlfriend without asking permission to Ken and spread it to all his friends. Ken got angry to Jed because he can’t accept the fact that he didn’t got the highest score because for him copying files is unethical.
